Our Tricky-Tray Thank You's!
This past weekend, on April 12th, we participated in the annual Saint John Vianney Tricky Tray! This event, which has gone on for the past thirteen years, is one of the ways the SJV PreK-Elementary school raises money for updated equipment, school transportation, field trips, and healthy eating options.
We were really proud to present our basket, which featured gift cards from several local and family-owned businesses.

1. Bagel Supreme Co.
MC Home Improvements is proud to issue the official opinion of the company, which is that New Jersey bagels are superior to that of any other state.
Bagel Supreme Co is a family-owned chain of bagel places in our area, with locations in Colonia, Clark, Cranford, Kenilworth, Rutherford, and Wallington. Their success can be seen in their three soon-to-see locations in Rahway, Linden, and Scotch Plains — and they’re exactly the kind of bagel place that’ll make you proud to say you’re from Jersey!
2. So Delicious Ice Cream
New to the Clark community, So Delicious Ice Cream is the perfect place to stop for a scoop if you’re ever in the area! Situated right on Central Ave, they make for a convenient “in-between-errands” stop.
In addition to their new permanent location, their ice cream truck is available for booking at your next big event or gathering — the perfect way to create sweet memories. You can book them via their website… so a delicious surprise is only a few clicks away!
3. The B’s Cheese
Our affection for B’s Cheese is widely known, evidenced by our previous showcases on both our blog and social media! The reasons behind our admiration are abundantly clear — this Cranford-based mobile shop is nothing short of perfect. Offering an impressive array of cheeses and meticulously curated charcuterie boards available for order, alongside regular educational events such as cheese-pairing sessions and board-making workshops, B’s Cheese is the epitome of culinary excitement. Indulge your cravings and earn the title of "host with the most" by checking them out.
4. Tomasello Winery
With a location in the heart of Cranford, New Jersey, Tomasello Winery exudes charm — inviting visitors into a world of exceptional wines. The winery itself boasts a rustic yet sophisticated ambiance, with its warm wooden accents and inviting tasting room providing the perfect setting for wine enthusiasts to indulge in the sensory delights that await.
And if you’re not a wine aficionado yourself… no worries! Their staff is well-versed and ready to help you find a bottle you’ll be proud to take home.
5. La Colina
Brand new to the Cranford community, La Colina opened its doors just a few months ago! While we haven’t had an opportunity to visit… we highly encourage you to! (And… tell us how it is!)
They have a wonderful space, with an energetic atmosphere perfect for a night out — featuring incredible margaritas and piña coladas. Additionally, you can book a room to host private events. They also have a second location in Warren, NJ.
